·           Cause eye irritation and skin rash upon contact with algae

·           Cause vomiting, diarrhoea, fever, muscle and joint pain if swallowed

·           Algae does not always release toxins, but preventions should always be in place

·           All staff and customers on water based activities

·           Any full immersion in affected area should be recommended to shower

·           Avoid areas where algae is visible

·           Hourly inspections of affected areas to monitor movement

·           Monitor wind direction

·           Movement of group to unaffected areas of water

·           Discontinuation of session(s) if algae is visible and / or present in all areas

·           Avoid groups immersion in water during sessions
